Racking System
Long span shelving is usually used for manual retrieval operations. Modular in structure with adjustable shelve intervals, the shelving comes with a maximum height within arm’s reach for convenient handling, and is used for storing paper boxes or loose items. The long span shelving use either steel or wood laminates.

Long Span Shelving
Introduction
Long span shelving is usually used for manual retrieval operations. Modular in structure with adjustable shelve intervals, the shelving comes with a maximum height within arm’s reach for convenient handling, and is used for storing paper boxes or loose items. The long span shelving use either steel or wood laminates.
Structural Characteristics
The long span shelving has a plug-in crossbeam structure to work with wood and laminates. Loading capacity per shelf can reach 800kg. Shelf height can be adjusted at 50mm intervals. New types of long span shelving have a maximum capacity of 700kg per shelf; laminates can be made of steel, wood or high density plates of various specifications. Plug-in assembly long span shelving, ladder type crossbeams; can install steel laminates or rolled wood laminates, with adjustable shelf height at 50mm intervals. Loading capacity per shelf can reach 800kg; specific dimensions can be customized according to client requirements. Comparing to the previous A-type shelving, this type of long span shelving is more industrial in nature and is more suitable for storing metal parts. It is widely used in manufacturing and similar industries.
Mezzanines
Introduction
Suitable for storage of small parts. To fully utilize height of storage space and reduce operating area, the system can be designed to be a 2-layer or 3 layer structure. Mezzanines are widely utilized in logistics centers and automobile parts centers. All parts of mezzanines can be assembled together without welding work. Unlike concrete or steelwork structures, mezzanines are low cost and have higher space utilization rate, because the lower layer can work as a support to upper layer. The floor can be plain board, checked iron, or punched steel plate, depending on needs for fire prevention, ventilation, or lighting. Forklift, hydraulic lift, or cargo elevator can be used to load cargos. Small hand-pushing carts are usually used to move cargoes in the same floor.
Functions
The system consists racking and floor boards and can be easily installed for effective utilisation of warehouse space and increased storage area. Suitable for storage of light cargos with less demand on mobility. It can be used with parts boxes and tote boxes. The maximum loading capability of floor board is 300kg/m. The floor is made of galvanized plates and other galvanized parts, which are light-duty and have an elegant appearance. The system can be easily assembled or disassembled. The number of floors can be added or reduced according to needs.
Drive-in Racking
Introduction
Drive-in racking is a racking system that is not separated by aisles. The continuous block of racking allows high density storage. Drive-in racking is suitable for storing a large amount of similar loads, especially for big lots of the same type of goods. With high utilization of space, this type of racking is relatively less costly for industries with expensive storage space, such as food and garments.
Structural Characteristics
Drive-in racking offer the biggest storage with the smallest available space. It is particularly suitable for storing goods with standard units, and is widely used in industries with fast movement of a large amount but a small variety of goods. Goods can be placed or picked up from the same side, or retrieved according to the first-in-first-out requirements, stocking up from one side and picked up from the other. Drive-in racking is a commonly used high density racking, utilising 50% more of space than ordinary pallet racking. It is suitable for small variety but large amount type of storage. The racking is usually for last-in-first-out storage and suitable for goods with high circulation. Forklifts drive in to the rack aisles to place or pick out pallets.
