BPS Global Participates in The World Class Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) Logistics Automation Project

Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) is going to build a nine-storey building block with a two-storey basement of a world class Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC). One of the key features is to have a highly automated Communal Distribution Center (CDC) with area of ​​approximately 86,000 square feet in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.

It is the honor of BPS Global can participate in the AMC project to provide the state-of-the-art automated facilities and solutions. Work will be commenced in Aug 2020 and is expected to be completed by 2021. The CDC is one of the most important design features of the AMC to empowering innovation and technology advancement in Hong Kong. It is designated for smart manufacturing activities and all the automated logistics related activities should be centralized in the CDC to maximize the space utilization.

The CDC is showcasing the advanced automation equipment, such as pallet shuttle, carton shuttle, GTP station, conveyor, AGV forklift, robotic arm etc. In addition, we use Building Information Modeling (BIM) for creating and managing construction information regarding the layout design of loading dock system, automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS)  and tenant interface etc. during project design stage.

Our team will bring in a high level of service and quality to complete this project with different parties under a very tight schedule. Confronted with numerous challenges, such as installation of automation equipment in more than 2,000 pallet and 6,000 tote bin positions, we demonstrate our professional expertise that enhance the overall logistics efficiency ultimately.
