“Run for Wild 2018” Charity Event

“Run for Wild 2018” kicked off on 25 February morning at Tai Po Pak Shek Kok Waterfront Promenade. With species threatened with extinction as its main theme, this charity event aimed to raise funding for World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF)’s education and conservation of endangered species. Our colleagues actively took part in this charity run, to support the protection of wild animals such as panda, tiger, green turtle, black-faced spoonbill, Chinese white dolphin and shark. During the run, participants were able to run in the “wild” with obstacles that mimicked the environment of the focus species, so to raise public awareness of endangered species.

“Run for Wild” is the annual fundraising event organized by WWF. It is designed for anyone with a passion for running, with an aim to promote citizens’ awareness in sustainable living, climate change and protecting wildlife species.
