Voluntary Services at Heep Hong Caring Centre

BPS Global participated a lot of voluntary services every year. On 30 March, our colleagues attended a voluntary service to take care of the mentally retarded children from low-income family.

The activity was organized by Heep Hong Society and co-organized by Buddhist Tai Kwong Chi Hong College.  The students and BPS staff to form groups to play with 15 children at a Heep Hong Society Caring Centre at Fu Shin Estate, Tai Po.

The event started from 0900 till 1230. All volunteers required to make good preparation before the activities such as resources and gift arrangement, forming groups and briefing by the host. Volunteers first break the ice through self-introduction. Then they played with the children via workshops and group games such as coloring the pictures, making aquarium, introduce sea creatures, prepare snacks, fishing match and so on. The children were playing happily with our colleagues and they showed their love by hugs to create a harmony environment.
